Terms and conditions

Prior to booking with ID5, it is important that you read the full terms and conditions.  Bookings are accepted on the understanding that you have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions for the 5-day course you are about to purchase.

ID5 is a 5-day course that starts on a Monday and finishes on Friday. If you have booked a longer course, this can be covered within two weeks. if you and your instructor have made other arrangements, the course must be completed within one month of starting date. The start time will be agreed upon, by you and your driving instructor.

There is a 14 working day cancellation policy starting from your first payment.
With the understanding that there is a non-refundable amount of £300. Refunds can take up to 4 to 5 working days to go back into your account, refunds can only be paid back into the account you made payment from.

Course times

The course will start and end at the agreed point arranged by you and your instructor.
ID5 uses Approved Driving Instructors. Driving Instructors are self-employed which means they use their own vehicles.

Your driving instructor will text you when they have arrived. If you are going to be late please inform your instructor in advance. If pupils arrive late or leave the course early or miss any days out. There will not be any portion of payment refunded or any hours added. This is a 5 day course and should be completed in 5 day. Unless pre-arranged with the instructor.

Although your driving instructor will make every effort to arrive promptly at the lesson start time, the very nature of the work means that events arising from traffic, weather, and other situations which are outside their control may mean that occasionally lessons may need to be reschedules.

Your instructor also reserves the right to refuse a driving lesson if you suffer from any medical condition that could affect your ability to drive, or if you are taking any medicines specifically stating that you should not drive. It is also your responsibility, as the student to declare any medication or medical condition to the instructor. If you are in any doubt as to the effect of any condition or medication please speak to your doctor and instructor.

This refusal also applies to anyone under the influence of alcohol or non-prescription drugs.
If driving lessons are refused there will be no refund.

At the end of the course, your instructor will inform ID5 if you are ready for your test. ID5 will go ahead and book your practical test. If you need more lessons you can arrange private lessons with your instructor or contact ID5 and we will help you in any way we can.

Driving tests are not supplied on the course, as an application for such can only be made once a theory pass is obtained.

ID5 will provide a vehicle for the 5-day course. The hire of an instructor’s vehicle is supplied for your first test booked with ID5. We will try our very best to supply the vehicle you trained in for your test. Or will provide a similar vehicle.

Students must agree that they are duly licensed to drive. To be able to read a number plate at a distance of 20.5 metres. ID5 and instructors are not responsible for a cancelled test by the DVLA. ID5 provides 3 hours before your test, which is the pupil is required to pay for, before the test.

Payments can be paid by our website by credit/debit card or directly to ID5 account. Please remember payments must be paid before your course can start. If you do not give advance notice of 14 days, there will be no refund as Driving instructors book their diaries in advance, please also note that deposits cannot be refunded.
